The ring didn’t come

• Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Taken Daily → Allow Notifications is on, and that “Time Sensitive” alerts are allowed.
• Focus modes can silence notifications. Either allow Taken Daily in your Focus, or on iOS 26 turn on Settings → “Ring through Silent & Focus” inside the app for a real alarm.
• Rest days are quiet on purpose. Check your pack in Settings → Pack.

Add the widget or Lock Screen

• Home Screen: touch and hold the Home Screen → tap “+” (or Edit → Add Widget) → search “Taken” → add. One tap on the widget marks the day.
• Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen → Customize → tap the widget area → choose Taken.
• Dynamic Island / Live Activity: appears on its own when the reminder is due. Tap Taken. there; the app never has to open.
• Inside the app: Settings → “How to add Taken.” walks you through it.

Ring through Silent & Focus (iOS 26)

Settings → “Ring through Silent & Focus”. The first time, iOS asks for alarm permission. While it is on, the ring is a real alarm with a 10-minute snooze, and the 5-minute follow-ups are off because the alarm keeps ringing until you tap. If you denied the permission, re-enable it in iPhone Settings → Taken Daily.

Purchases

• Restore: Settings → Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID that bought it.
• Cancel a subscription: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Taken Daily → Cancel. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Travel

When your phone lands in a new time zone, Dot asks whether to keep the usual local time or stay on your home time. You can change it later from the Home screen prompt.

Privacy questions

See the Privacy Policy. There is no account to delete; deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
